Update as of 2030 EDT 020713


1.  The WB-57F flew a very successful and highlight-filled sortie today.  A wingtip-to-wingtip formation was flown with the 
ER-2 during a 15-minute leg at FL 500 for instrument comparisons.  A variety of visual and subvisual cirrus clouds were 
sampled above and below a very cold (195 K) tropopause near FL 485.  Persistent and growing contrails were sampled near the 
tropopause for extended periods of 20 to 30 minutes.   A leg was flown between FL 550 and FL 596 before returning to Key 
west.  

2. Tomorrow is a no-fly day. Hands-on will be 0800-1200.  

3. Monday will be a down day (i.e., no aircraft access).
